Monika Byléhn

With fifteen years at the telecommunications giant, Monika Byléhn is currently responsible for establishing a position of thought leadership for Ericsson on the issue of urban life in a Networked Society. She is overseeing city life studies looking at the attitudes of citizens and decision makers in metropolitan areas worldwide. Monika is also establishing the City Index measuring major cities information and communication technologies (ICT) maturity and their socioeconomic and environmental progress. Previously, she has managed a business scenario unit at the company, as well as been responsible for analyzing the telecom industry and its players. Monika has a venture capital background in the finance industry. She was also the Secretary of the Commission of Business Confidence set up by the Swedish Prime Minister’s Office.
